All to often booking a disco is a one off event and it can be very difficult to know if you are really getting value for money or just a novice who has picked a fee out of the air to see if you will pay what they ask for.
We are often asked to save a party after a friend has let them down, the Dj has double booked themselves or the Dj has stopped performing and just forgot to tell you. Why not save yourself this stress and book from a reliable company at the start.
You would not expect to pay the same price in a garage for a BMW as you would for a for a FORD FIESTA and this can very often be the same when booking a disco. Our shows are priced fairly and all are dj's have been booked and re-booked time and time again so thier reputation speaks for themselves.
Did you know that a lot of the venues that offer to book a Disco & Dj for your private party add as much as £100 booking fee on to the total cost of the disco, so you may think you are getting a £250.00 disco but in reality you are getting a £150.00 or slightly higher disco and paying them the privalige of picking up the phone on your behalf. You also have very little control of the disco because they have been booked by the venue and answer to the venue.
At devon mobile disco we deal direct with you the customer right from the start, we ask what the party is for, how many people will be at the event and more importantly what music would you like the dj to play for your night. We confirm all bookings in writing and enclose a music questionaire so you can pre advise us of your music expectations and any special requirements you may have for the night such as a Bride & Grooms 1st dance at a wedding.
All of our discos are of the same high standard and we have a minimum expectation to the amount of lights, quality of sound equipment and choice of music before we even consider going to watch one of thier shows or seaking to people that have booked them in the past. We also meet all of the DJ's personally before we agree to take them on our books, this way we also know they meet our high standards of appearance and personal manors.

Please note we ask all customers to sign a contract this is for your protection when reserving a disco and ours that you intend to honour the booking.

When booking via the telephone or internet please remember that the dj you have booked will not take any additional work for that day. An email asking us to book a disco will be the same as a contract signed with the below conditions.
If you book a disco via the telephone and ask us to send a contract and then cancel the booking after 7 days with out signing the contract there will be an administration fee of £25.00 payable.
If you can cancell within 7 days a £15.00 administration fee will be payable.
All fees are due within 7 days of you notiftying us and us issuing a contract.
If you have signed a contract then the terms of the contract will be adhered to.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- THE AGREEMENT IS THAT THE ENGAGER HEREBY ENGAGES THE ARTISTE(S) WHO INTURN AGREE’S TO APPEAR
AS PER THE SCHEDULE OF PERFORMANCES APPENDED ABOVE, SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS.
- REASONABLE CHANGING FACILITIES AND A SAFE SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY TO BE SUPPLIED TO THE ARTISTE’S BY THE ENGAGER.
- REASONABLE SAFE ACCESS TO THE PLACE OF PERFORMANCE TO BE ENSURED BY THE ENGAGER.
- CANCELLATION : THIS CONTRACT IS BINDING AND DOES NOT PROVIDE FOR CANCELLATION. A CANCELLATION FEEWILL BE PAYABLE BY THE CANCELLING PARTY. PLEASE ONLY SIGN IF YOU HAVE THIS AUTHORITY. CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 12 WEEKS OF BOOKING DATE = 50% CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 8 WEEKS OF BOOKING DATE = 75% & CANCELLATIONS WITH IN 4 WEEKS OF THE BOOKING DATE = 100% OF THE FULL FEE.
- UNLESS NAMED AS THE ARTISTE OR PROMOTER ABOVE <placew:ston>DEVON <placew:ston>MOBILE DISCO ACTS AS A NEGOTIATOR ONLY AND IS THEREFORE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY NON-FULFILMENT OF CONTRACT BY EITHER PARTY. HOWEVER, EVERY REASONABLE SAFEGUARD IS ASSURED. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS BOOKING <placew:ston>DEVON <placew:ston>MOBILE DISCO ACTS AS AN EMPLOYMENT AGENCY.
- IN THE EVENT OF AN ARTISTE ARRIVING LATE, THE ENGAGER MAY AT THEIR DISCRETION DEDUCT A PRO-RATA
PROPORTION OF THE FEE. THIS MUST BE DISCUSSED AT THE START OF THE BOOKING AND NOT THE END.
- ALL ARTISTES HAVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL FUTURE BOOKINGS OR END A CURRENT PERFORMANCE EARLY IF
THEY FEEL THAT THEY OR THEIR EQUIMENT ARE AT RISK OF DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY.
- IT IS AGREED THAT ANY FUTURE ENGAGEMENTS OF THE ARTISTE BY THE ABOVE ENGAGER EITHER MADE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY BE NEGOTIATED BY THIS AGENCY WITH IN 18 MONTHS OF THE LAST PERFORMANCE. THIS INCLUDES ALL VENUES AND NOT JUST THE ABOVE MENTIONED VENUE.
PAYMENT LESS ANY DEPOSIT IS DUE IN FULL IN CASH AT THE START OF THE PERFORMANCE TO THE DJ. WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT CHEQUE PAYMENTS PAID IN ADVANCE BY 7 DAYS. A PENALTY OF £15.00 WILL BE CHARGED FOR LATE PAYMENT OR CHEQUE ON THE DAY PAYMENT. CHQS TO MR P S WHITTAKER

THE ONLY EXCEPTION TO THIS IS IF YOU HAVE TO CHANGE A DATE WE WOULD NOT CHARGE ON THE ORIGINAL BOOKING AS LONG AS IT IS REPLACED WITH A NEW DATE WITHIN 28 DAYS.
IF YOU ARE IN ANYWAY UNSURE ABOUT ANY OF THE CONDITIONS PLEASE ASK US TO EXPLAIN AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. BECAUSE WE ARE AN INTERNET BASED COMPANY WE FEEL IT ONLY FAIR THAT YOU CAN READ OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPFRONT. PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE THAT BECAUSE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE HERE WE WILL ENSURE THE CHARGES ARE MADE IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION.
